About me.
My journey into the underwater world began at the age of 10, a pivotal time in my life as my parents had just divorced, and I found myself grappling with dark thoughts. Amid the turmoil, scuba diving entered my life, becoming a transformative force. At that tender age, I was plagued by overthinking, pondering the very meaning of existence as my world seemed to crumble. However, that first scuba dive altered the course of my perspective, compelling me to be present in the moment. The underwater realm revealed a different reality—one teeming with beauty, a stark contrast to the pain and misery that had clouded my thoughts.

From that moment on, I was captivated by the mysteries of the ocean. While the tales of leopards and lions had always fascinated me, it was underwater that I discovered the awe-inspiring world of hammerheads using echolocation and the mesmerizing ability of octopuses to change color. This newfound knowledge rekindled my curiosity and, perhaps most importantly, made me feel like a kid again. The troubles of my childhood were left at the shoreline as I embraced the role of a true explorer beneath the waves.

Fast forward 16 years from my first dive, and I've now graduated as an engineer in bioscience. While I've embarked on a fulfilling career, engineering part-time in the offshore renewables sector, my lifelong dream of becoming an underwater photographer has finally become a reality. Whether I'm beneath the waves or exploring new destinations, my passion for the ocean remains unwavering.

Over the years, I've transformed my underwater escapades into shared experiences. Inspired by the adventures of J. Costeau, I sought to reveal the wonders beneath the surface, documenting my journey on social media. This endeavor blossomed into an incredible community of over 150,000 like-minded individuals. Last year, after achieving my divemaster certification, I expanded my contributions by assisting other diving businesses with their social media presence. The ocean's enchantment continues to fuel not only my personal exploration but also my dedication to sharing its beauty with the world.
I could not be happier after my first ever open water dive at 10 years old.

Save The Sharks has successfully halted the inclusion of shark fin soup in numerous restaurant menus both in the USA and internationally. They actively engage in international forums like CITES, contributing to the historic protection of Porbeagle, Oceanic Whitetips, and Hammerheads.
