Frogfish are notoriously difficult to spot due to their incredible ability to blend in with their surroundings. In over 1,000 dives, I've only encountered a handful, but never one in pink—my personal favorite color. They're often hard to photograph clearly because they’re usually overgrown with marine life, obscuring their mouth and eyes. What makes this picture so special is how clearly everything is distinguishable, allowing the frogfish’s unique features to truly stand out.
