This is one of my favorite pictures from the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. It captures the vibrant marine life and demonstrates the effectiveness of a marine protected area where only controlled fishing is allowed. I love the combination of algae-covered rocks with the hammerhead shark, giving the scene a Jurassic Park-like atmosphere.
